		<description>I also saw that fear factor episode and I&#039;m not sure how they were able to eat them. I also thought that scorpions were poisonous. Maybe some species are not or it may be possible that they were drained of the poison before being eaten. For the cooked scorpions, the heating process destroys the poison making them safe for consumption.</description>

		<description>If you are talking about the Varinthip, I have no idea. I&#039;m pretty sure Varinthip is not an actual whiskey, per se, but it&#039;s difficult to tell what it is (at least for me since I don&#039;t have much liquor experience). It may be a rum like Sangsom, although of a significantly lower quality....and that&#039;s saying a lot.  At least it&#039;s still a notch above the &lt;em&gt;lao kao&lt;/em&gt; [rice &quot;wine&quot;] many of the rural folk are so fond of. I believe the whiskey in the photo here was Black Label.</description>
